Resolutions 2021

We’ve  long been  awaiting 2021’s arrival, and while it is finally here , h ave you crafted your resolutions? No matter what is on your list, EOB is here to support you  to   have the best year.    

The most popular resolution is to exercise more, and after a lot of quarantine eating and coming off holiday foods, this one might be the most daunting. We’ve got just the boost you need to get you off the couch  and   on the  treadmill;  tune into  KCEP Power 88   while you exercise . You can stream their broadcast on your phone no matter where you’re jogging or hitting  the weights .    

Financial focused resolutions are the next thing people promise to tackle. If you think a job change could help your finances, our Workforce Supportive Services could be of service. Rent and utility assistance is also available for a one-month basis through our other program, Family Supportive Servi c es.   

If you’re like 43% of Americans and  have to  eat healthier on the list, we encourage you to sign up to join the MLK Senior Center. While this program can only assist those 55+, those who qualify will receive food and produce giveaways. Also, one in five say they want to make more friends this year, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a friendlier place than the MLK Senior Center.
